Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using BaseMeeting ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. By using BaseMeeting you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or process data you do not have the legal right to use
• Spam, harass, or contact individuals who have opted out
• Upload sensitive personal data (SSNs, payment card numbers, health information)
• Violate any applicable law, including CAN-SPAM, CASL, or GDPR
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls
• Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
• Use the Service as general-purpose data storage or an ingestion pipeline
• Automate uploads or API calls in a manner that degrades service quality for others

3a. Fair use

Where BaseMeeting offers "unlimited" features, this means no hard metered limit for normal business use. It does not authorise automated abuse, excessive resource consumption beyond what a reasonable sales team would generate, or deliberate attempts to stress or degrade the Service. We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts whose usage materially exceeds normal patterns or harms other users, with or without prior notice. If your legitimate use case requires bulk imports beyond our standard technical limits, contact us and we will accommodate you directly.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of all contact data you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of that data complies with applicable law.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. We use Stripe to process payments. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 14 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error.

6. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BaseMeeting's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
